Hi, I’m Sada!
I’m a PhD student in social psychology at Florida Atlantic University, working in Dr. Geoffrey Wetherell’s political and moral psychology lab. My research focuses on judgment and decision-making related to more ethical diets, pro-environmental actions, social activism, and prejudice reduction. I’m particularly interested in altruism, social change, and engaging broader audiences in social movements, using effective framing and other interventions. I also study underrepresented populations, aiming to understand and destigmatize their worldviews.
I publish, present, and teach while also volunteering for animal advocacy. My goal is to use social psychology and experimental methods to create positive change, particularly for factory-farmed animals.
